A new try at getting my seedlings started - a carbohydrate additive to the soil.

Image
I’m fortunate to have come across some rock dust, as well, which you can see, I mixed in to the seed-starter mix, at about 30-40% rock dust to 50% worm castings, and one large handful of peat moss that I infused with Concentrace minerals. The carbohydrate additive is a shot at mimicking a much more fortified seed-case|topic:nutrient environment of one of the components of a seed, in and of itself, as it would (hopefully) sprout and find that this additive - Xanthan gum, in this case, as it is a protein binder, very glycemic - [perhaps... (a guess, off-hand)], and a starch, when dry (although I’d think that it shouldn’t much dry out completely.  This particular Xanthan gum product is a fine powder when dry, and a glutinous, and very stubborn gel, when wet with water. I got several pots planted, as well as an egg crate, for starters. (As a side note, I went conventional this evening and got my way out to Armstrong’s Gardening Center, in Pasadena, CA.

Bwipp, bwipp, bwipp. The pigeons and the sparrows.

Here's a cool video clip of the birds of Downtown Los Angeles' Grand Park Children's Playground. They're regulars at this spot in the afternoon. Mmm... xoichi munchies)) I've seemed to notice that the birds aren't too messy with their poop if they're given a vegetarian diet, as would most commonly be natural for these types of birds. Hopefully it keeps up as the flock's breed and grow larger.

Mutations of the common housefly (musca domestica).

Seedlings of a visionary intelligently-designed in-vivo evolutionary assistance. A hyper-evolved instance of Musca domestica. Housefly / Scientific name Musca domestica Housefly. The housefly ( Musca domestica ) is a fly of the suborder Cyclorrhapha. It is believed to have evolved in the Cenozoic era, possibly in the Middle East, and has spread all over the world as a commensal of humans. It is the most common fly species found in houses. Wikipedia › wiki › Housefly Musca domestica - Wikipedia While it's not the first time I've come across a more beautiful, non-irritant, [seemingly] more considerate and accommotable to human tastes and disposition, I was unable to capture the first one and the second one, of a completely au[ x ]tigomous heraldry from this photographically-captured one, thanks to better fortune in life, as well as better battery-life on mobile devices. Nicotiana tabacum seeds have arrived from https://organicseeds.top

As a very long-awaited ambition in making my seedlings happen, as per this Blogger page; I finally received, in the mail, my order of 7 Nicotiana tabacum varietal heirloom seeds for planting. My order list from organicseeds.top . The package of intrigue for me, going on nearly 3 weeks of waiting and back and forth between the online tracking, the mail carrier, and the Broadway / Manchester South Central Los Angeles Post Office. It was a long wait (for me; yet considering that the package came from the Ukraine). 17track.net, an international package tracking all-in-one service. One of several attempts to schedule that the package be picked up or redelivered.  I ran into all sorts of hitches while trying to arrange for more acutely aware tracking information, after I had lost my phone, as well as that I had missed the shipment the first time and I couldn't pick the package up myself, since I don't have my California ID yet.  I finally got the package...
